1st negative experience here after several good ones. Going on vacation and took my Tahoe in to rotate tires and check brakes. Was told rear brakes were thin but fine for the trip. A thousand mile trip later I’m metal on metal in the rear and the grinding is horrible. Did not want to be looking for a brake job while on vacation. Jay and the guys have usually been good to me. Very disappointed this time and I called him to let him know. I will continue to do business there based on my past experience but I won’t if this continues. Rick Baker

Worst experience ever. Brought my 2015 Cruze in Thursday at 9am with what I believed to be a water pump issue, went home and waited until 5pm with no return phone call of what was wrong with the vehicle. I called at this time and was told the water pump had to be replaced and would be 3-5 days. I then asked about a loaner vehicle since The Cruze was still under warranty. They replied that the warranty would not cover a loaner. I then, after minutes of searching found my warranty papers and called back ( by this time it was 530pm) , speaking with another individual they told me that a loaner vehicle would be covered under warranty, however they had no loaners on lot. I would have to wait until the morning where they would contact me. Friday morning I received no phone call, I then called at 9am. The individual stated they had been busy and no loaner cars were yet available, he then said he would call enterprise and set me up an appointment, and that I should receive a phone call from Enterprise. I then waited until 1pm, having still not received a phone call, I called Enterprise. They stated that they had me on file and a vehicle in stock, but champion Chevrolet had not faxed the paperwork for payment. I was told they would get ahold of champion Chevrolet to see what was going on. After waiting several more hours of not hearing anything, I called back at 4pm , they then stated they tried calling champion but did not get an answer. This is now where I'm at currently... Still waiting on a rental car while my wife and kids are stuck at the house with no vehicle. I will never be taking another vehicle back to champions. A good dealership would have called after they found that the water pump was on back order and would have had loaner car set up and ready for pick up. By far the worst customer service experience and this ordeal is not over yet. I may get a loaner car by day 3... Only time will tell.

Both the technician Greg and the service manager Karen were very helpful and had 10/10 excellent customer service. I've recently switched to Champion dealership because it was closer to me and because of those two I will be coming back.

I called twice and spoke with the same person who kept telling me he was still checking on the vehicle and would call me back in 10 minutes . Almost 2 hours later I called again to find out it had been sold. Definitely need to work in customer service skills.

It seems every time I have my truck serviced at Champion something is always left out or forgotten, or just plain missed. This is the 4th time I have taken my truck to Champion for something (3 services 1 repair). The first two times I had the truck in for service the tires weren't rotated even though I had requested it, and the service adviser recommended it. When I brought the truck in to have some body damage repaired the tires did get rotated per the service department, but the repair shop was not able to wash the truck, they did promise the vehicle would be cleaned the next time I brought it in for service. Which brings us to my most recent service visit, I brought the truck in for an oil change and specifically reminded the service adviser about the car wash I was promised by the body shop, they indicated to me they were adding it to the notes. When I picked my vehicle up it had not been cleaned, the driver seat was all the way forward for some reason, and the paper floor mat was still in the floor. Because of all the reasons listed above I will no longer be using the Champion Chevrolet service department for any more of my vehicles maintenance needs. I bought this truck at Champion specifically because the service department is convenient for me as I live in LaGrange, but now I am even questioning my purchase decision. Update - I have been in contact with the dealership and they have expressed great interest in resolving the issues I have experienced. I will continue to update my review as this progresses. Update 2 - I worked directly with the service manager and she was very apologetic of the situation. I dropped my truck off yesterday with her and she had it detailed. They did an excellent job.

Dented my vehicle while having work done. They parked snug between 2 white trucks and wondered where the white crusted paint dent came from. To there credit they did fix. Treated like a bother when I schedule appointments. Probably because I have GM extended warranty.

We purchased a 2015 Silverado 1500 from Todd a couple of months ago and couldn’t be happier with our decision! We were offered a more than fair number on our trade in, which ultimately made the whole process very smooth. During the test drive we noticed the brakes may need replaced or at least double checked prior to us purchasing and Champion made sure to check out the truck first thing and was quick to order parts to replace the brakes and rotors at no charge to us. All in all, a hassle free experience and would definitely recommend to friends and family searching for a reliable and trustworthy dealership to purchase their next vehicle from!

Update... after checking my credit report I noticed they ran my credit thru 6 different lenders after requesting and stating I already had financing and asked that they do not run my credit. Beware. I was happy with my buying experience, as normal everyone is happy to sell you a vehicle. It's what happens after that is the problem. We ended up trading in the new vehicle we purchased from Champion we just wanted something different. We had purchased the extended warranty and since we sold the vehicle only 1 year after purchase we should receive a refund of about $1700 for this extended warranty. It has now been a month and Melissa in Finance has yet to let me know if the check has been mailed. I have contacted her multiple times and I do not receive a response. I have received a refund for extended warranty previously from Town and Country Ford (I should know by now I like new cars and shouldn't purchase extended warranties) so I know this shouldn't be a difficult process. With them I walked in showed them that I sold the vehicle, they said just a minute, and withing 5 minutes I walked out with a refund. So I'm not sure why Champion is taking so long to provide me with my check. They have all the paperwork, they claim everything has been processed, but yet no one has provided me with the funds.

Car started breaking down on freeway in middle of nowhere. Pulled off freeway to nearest Chevy dealer. Spent night in hotel and they got me in first thing in am...with my 2dogs! We stayed outside while they did the work. Very helpful, friendly and fast. Nice area to stop and stay.

Took our vehicle here to have it worked on due to my husband having a wreck. They fixed the truck but while having our truck they backed into in their shop and done more damage that they fixed, but while our vechile was in their shop they also done damage to our passenger side front door handle and refused to fix it. We were told there was no way it happened while in their care, the thing is it wasn't broke before the truck was taken there to be fixed.

We brought a 2016 high country. It was delivered to us in NC in the beginning of Feb 2018. The windshield was damaged. We have been calling on a weekly basis to try to get this handled. Still 2 months later and weekly phone calls speaking with the sales manager. We still have a 50,000$ truck with a damaged windshield. The service was great trying to purchase the truck. However, they have poorly represented this company handling the windshield situation. I will never purchase from them again.

Every person we met with throughout the process was extremely attentive, personable, and courteous. We were never pressured to buy a certain vehicle type or pushed into a certain price range. We led the entire process and the staff at Champion worked hard to make sure that we were completely satisfied throughout. In fact, they even went so far as to bring a demo to our house to make sure that the vehicle would fit in our garage. I wish all companies had the same level of service. Quick Shot Transportation

I do not purchase Chevrolets, but if you do that, I would suggest this store. The people here are legitimately nice. Let me explain. I am a car transporter. They are not making a single penny from me. If I am shipping a car from their store, that means that they have already been paid for the vehicle. For that reason, most dealerships do not care what happens from there, because, well they have already have the money. They stayed 10 minutes late after close so that I could pick up a car from them that was shipping to another dealership, not even one of their retail customers. They could have, as most do and have done in the past, said, "Too late, come back tomorrow." This means I have to either A) stay over night and lose time on the road or B) cancel the job and lose the money. People legitimately being nice for no reason or personal gain. Sad that it seems so unusual......

Issues arose on the 1st purchase and everything was taken care of immediately and to my satisfaction. When I call, Sherry is also so pleasant. My sales person Todd W. has a great attitude. Bill G. went out of his way to answer all of my 1,000 questions. Finance was an easy process. Everyone in service has taken exceptional care of me. We had a terrible experience at this dealership. We took our truck in for break repairs and paid $3,100 only to find out on the way home that the job wasn't complete. They then wanted additional money for parts to finish the job. I complied. I went to pick the truck up again, and realized that the job was still not done and they wanted additional money. What frustrates me the most, is that it's obvious that their mechanic doesn't check his work. I knew it wasn't fixed before leaving the parking lot. We ended up leaving after 3,100 and the truck wasn't repaired as promised. I will discourage everyone I know from going here.

Just purchased a 2015 Equinox from Bill Morrison at Champion and could not be happier! At 23, and this being my first big purchase, we started at Champion and decided to check out a few other local dealerships to see what was out there. We ended up back at Champion when we realized none of the other dealerships could compete. Bill worked with me in order to get the best vehicle for my budget, and never pressured me into something I couldn't afford or didn't want. In the off chance Bill was unavailable the rest of the staff at Champion was available and happy to help, and answer any questions I had ( and trust me I had A LOT of questions!) Vickie Sat with me for at least 45 minutes in order to set up On Star, and to show me how to use all of the new extras. I definitely recommend Champion, and will be back in a few years for another purchase!

Purchased 2016 Buick Enclave with a little over 10,000 miles on it from Champion in LaGrange KY. Thought using a small dealer would provide good personal service. It is about 60 miles round trip to this dealer. I had to make 3 trips to have a couple of issues handled. This car should have had these issues settled before it was offered to any customer. As stated I made 3 trips, spent 3 separate "several" hour waiting periods for minor repairs and one issue I mentioned on each visit has still not been taken care of. I only know this because Onstar reports when something is wrong. Pretty dissatisfied and frustrated with the service at this dealership. I am updating this review. I was contacted by the dealership. They came to get my car and left a loaner for me. The issues were resolved. I was told they would ship new floor mats . I have not gotten them as yet but am hopeful they will be coming. I believe they worked hard to take care of my concerns.

The was never any pressure to buy anything we weren't completely satisfied with. I have always found my financing but at Champion they found a much better rate than I could, saving me money. I feel like my truck will give me years of dependable service but will definitely go back when I need a vehicle. One return visit for the paint and interior protection and that went great. Champion keeps sending me emails for a review. I'd like to give them a glowing response, but I just can't. First, I admit, they went out of their way to assist me. I believe it was Jason. He acquired the tools to align my 2016 C7 Z51 to Chevy's track specs. Thank you! I did a ton of research and came up with specs that will work, within parameters of Chevy's recommendations. I wrote these down and provided at time of service. They started the job, did what wasn't asked and had to replace what they removed to restart the job. okay. Took some extra time, no big deal. Received the print out on before and after, after specs not even close to what I asked for! Okay, I'll live with that and see how things go. But, what I can't live with. And the reason for my two star review. This service was performed on a Monday, 4 wheel alignment. The following Sunday, I was finishing the prep for an upcoming event. I had the front wheels offend was shocked at the condition of my tie rods! The tie rods have a place molded for a wrench. Using a wrench to adjust the tie rods would cause minimal damage to the tie rod. However, My tie rods have significant, visible damage. It looks as if the tech choose to use, what appears to have been, channel locks to adjust the tie rods. The paint and the metal on both tie rods are all chewed up from the teeth of the tool he chose to use. My tie rods look like crap, will rust and look worse and it will be difficult for the next tech to adjust without rounding off the hex molded metal, designed for a wrench. This is simply careless and shoddy workmanship! This may fly on Grandma's Buick, or Uncle Dan's Silverado. But not on a Corvette! I now have to look at replacing my tie rod ends! I take pride in my car. It's taken me a lifetime to be able to own a Corvette. I replaced a wheel, because I curbed it. I really don't want mangled parts on my car! I've been very happy with my dealings, both in service and with sales at Champion over the years. But this over sight and carelessness just doesn't sit right with me. In all honesty, I didn't call back and complain. I'd just as soon put it behind me, but I keep getting emails to evaluate my last visit. They won't let me forget! There was a time when craftsmen took pride in their work! I wonder where those days have gone!

Showed up today to buy a Land Rover LR4. I originally agreed on a price of $19500 with the dealer. When I got there, the new price was $21000. This was after a 4 hour drive there. On top of the lie about pricing, the vehicle was making an odd noise from the engine and needed two front lower control arms. Super disappointed that Champion felt this was acceptable; but glad that we didn't agree on price and I didn't leave with a bad car. Hopefully they send this one to auction as I could never sell this to anyone like they did us with my morals.

Mr. Waits came in on his day off, his birthday, to meet me. I live 60 miles away and it was the only time I could make it out. I found this to be going over and beyond any expectations of a salesman just to satisfy a potential customer. We came to a deal very quickly, he was very knowledgeable of the vehicle I was looking at and expidited all paper work as quickly as possible. This wasn't a pushy sales team by any means. Everyone made me feel like one of their own town friends. It's a top notch place with a small town feeling environment. Recently visited to look at purchasing a vehicle. After running my credit through OVER 8 financing companies they advised us that the best interest rate they could offer was over 10%?! Needless to say we didn't purchase a vehicle through them. Bought a vehicle 2 days later and the interest rate was not even half of what they tried to get us to purchase at and it was basically for the same vehicle. Never again will we try and purchase a vehicle from them! Very happy with the dealership we purchase our vehicle through!

When I first started using Champion about 2 1/2 years ago they were wonderful and I sent many friends their way. I took my car in for service 3 weeks ago and was called the next day and informed my timing chain needed to be replaced and it would cost almost $6000 along with new brakes and a couple other small issues. Needless to say, I did my homework and found there had been a warranty extension on my 2007 GMC Acadia and it was completely covered by GM. I am truly disappointed in Champion for a number of reasons. 1-they should have told me about this warranty extension considering they told us later that they had another the week before they fixed under the same extension. I shouldn't have had to do the research. 2-they have had my car 3 weeks this Thursday and we haven't heard a word from them til my husband went up there last week and they "just got the part in". REALLY? I am sure they are doing other cars ahead of mine since they get paid more for that than warranty work. They told my husband it would be less than a week and here it is going on a week tomorrow and haven't heard from them. Is it to much for an update every now and then? I have completely lost trust in them and neither my husband nor I will be returning with any of our cars in the future.
