Tony and the guys in the service department have been taking care of me since 2019. I could not recommend this group enough. Even when I'm in a pinch Tony will move some mountain to ensure I am able to be seen within a reasonable time frame. Example: I called Thursday and asked for my truck to be seen on short notice for an oil change and tire sensor concerns. Tony was transparent with me in saying they're not sure they can because they are absolutely booked. I appreciate that honesty and transparency. Also, to be fair, they are always booked and I bet it's because of how well they take care of people. Well Tony made it work for Friday morning and asked me to be at the shop at 8am. Everything was taken care of and I appreciate their flexibility. Any other time I would have been flexible myself and waited till the next week when they were free, but I was going out of town and slipped my mind. Thank you to Tony, service department, and everyone at Champion for your service and dedication to your customers.

I’ve purchased my last three vehicles from champion…This is the first time I’ve worked with the body shop. I hit a deer in my basically brand new pick up. They worked seamlessly with the insurance company and repaired the car to the point you can’t even tell anything ever happened. They did a great job and were easy to work with.

Staff is friendly but apparently bc I'm elderly, they knowingly sold a Kia optima to me that has to have entire engine replaced, at the expense of my own extended warranty. Folks be careful of what a t you buy there. They KNEW this engine needed replacement.

Kyle was friendly. Typical sales tatics used, present price, I reject, let me talk to my manager, present price, I reject. This went on and on for about 5-6 times. During test drive, I mentioned that I thought the truck jerked when downshifting. Kyle said it was a bump in the road . I said no that was not a bump in the road. They were suppose to clear out the low tire pressure message flashing light . They did not. Once the deal was made, it took close to an hour to get the truck from detail as I was told it was done 45 minutes earlier. I had made it very clear that I needed to be back in Crestview Hills northern Ky by 2 pm to pickup my wife from doctor appt. The truck did not get to me until 1:45 pm. So if I had it to do all over again, I would not. Then when I ask for previous owner contact info so so could reach out to them, I was told that would not happen. But then I found out that it was Law that a dealership had to provide that info when asked by the prospective buyer. I finally got it. So I am not real happy with my experience. Plus I got totally screwed on the trade in value of my truck. I think I have said enough.

Bought my daughter a used car here recently. Transaction went smooth, everyone was polite, and the price was fair. Of course, there were opportunities to add on warranties, and other services, but the sales tactics were not high pressure, and they quickly moved along when we declined. We arrived at 10:30am, took a test drive, and were out the door at noon. We’ll certainly check their inventory when we are in the market for another car!

Made an appointment to get it installed with a few days and I was back on the road in a very short period of time. Jay, the service manager was a pleasure to deal with and very professional. Champion is the closest dealership to me. When I call they know who I am put a personal touch on their service. Recently my starter was showing signs of going out, and even though they were booked through January, the service team found a spot to work it in that day and I was back on the road the next morning. I bought a used 2021 Ram 3500. Since purchasing the truck in late May I have had to have it jumped started 3x. This last time the battery had to be tighten. This is a battery they put in. I have had to miss a horse show and reschedule a vet appointment. I think once they bought it from the auction they did not look the vehicle over. Poor customer service.

I found my dream GMC Denali at Champion and while it is preowned I was treated like I was buying new. My search for the Denali resulted in finds at big city dealerships and I know what often comes with those dealerships - mediocre customer service by a 20-something sales guy. I drove over 90 minutes from Indiana to Champion because it was a smaller dealership and I was hopeful for a better experience. I met Chris who has years of experience with sales and most importantly with the vehicle I was interested it. Unlike past experiences with other dealerships when buying preowned where you’re handed the keys and sent out the door, Chris went above my expectation's by taking the time to give me a full orientation of the truck. He even filled the fuel tank! Buying a new vehicle can be a stressful process and it still was but Champion exceeded my expectations with the service provided.

Vickie was our sales person. She is very knowledgeable about our new truck and its features. She is very easy to work with and I would use again in the future. She gets 5 stars. The only thing that I didn’t like is the fact that the dealership itself preinstalled two items. One that I actually liked was the auxiliary brake light that flashes for about 2 seconds then goes solid red. The other thing is an AVAS gps system that would locate your truck if it was stolen and also tell you when your vehicle needs servicing, all for the outrageous price of $799. Then going back and rereading all of the paperwork that you had to sign, it is only good for 36 months.

I was is a quite a bind needing a quality used vehicle the evening I visited. Quentin my sales rep and Paul the used lot manager very helpful and honest, they worked together to make sure I was provided a quality used car for my budget. What to say, whay to say, I cannot express enough gratitude toward this place. My wife and I have been searching tirelessly to get me a newer truck and to get her out of her kia and back into a truck. I came across champion Chevrolet on cargurus. They had 2 used trucks that peaked our interest. I got ahold of them on a Monday and by friday we had a deal worked out on not one but both of the trucks. We worked with Vicki and John for the sale and with Matt for the financing. We have dealt with numerous different car dealers throughout the years and, one thing we have notice is that usually when you leave a deleaership you feel takin advantage of. Well that was definitely not the case with this place. We left very happy and felt that we got more than a fair deal. They definitely went above and beyond any expectations of a dealership. I was very impressed with the fact of even on used vehicles they do a full service and detail. John would not let me take one of my trucks home until it had the service done and checked out good. Mind you we live 2 and half hours away and did the drive with 2 kids. But it was well worth it and I will forever recommend champion Chevrolet to any body that is looking for a great vehicle and even better service. They made us very comfortable and did not rush us while the paperwork got put together. Salesperson rushed thru very fast with my wife, showing her the features of her new Equinox. He was working on another couple-trying to sell a car, test drive, etc., while we were purchasing. She asked about the height settings of the tailgate-he told her it was fine, that he set it at 3/4. It almost hit our garage door when we opened it, while parked. Just serve one customer at a time, or stay focused on the actual $35,000 sale just made.

The sales department was great, but the service department did a horrible job. The service representative, Tony, lied to me on several occasions about what the warranty would pay for and work that was supposed to be completed and was not. They had my vehicle for two months, replacing the engine and within one day I had to take it back and that’s when they informed me I needed a new transmission. Not sure why they didn’t catch that during the two months they had it, especially since they were supposed to flush the transmission. I even called to confirm that they were going to flush the transmission during the engine work and they said they would. When I picked it up, they said they had not flushed the transmission. he told me the warranty would not cover a certain part of the work which was gonna cost over $1000. I asked him if it would be worth calling The warranty company to confirm and he said no, I would just be wasting my time. I called the warranty company, and they immediately said they would cover the part and said that it would not make sense for them not to. I am not a hard man to please, but very unhappy with my experience at Champion.

I paid $169 for a verbal estimate today with no information for the repair, from a code reader. Which I already had gotten before I came. Thought it would be a warranty issue. Turned out to be billable. Won’t ever go back. Mind changed. It was a paper work error me not getting my real estimate. A manager called, apologized and addressed my issue. They did what I expected and I will use them again, they are a solid stand up company.

(Update) found the power steering issue. When power steering line was replaced by champion. They cross threaded the fitting on the line that goes into the back of the power steering pump. $800 later and i can finally drive my truck without leaking fluid everywhere. This place really earned the name stealership. Seems to be a ongoing issue with this dealership. Seen several reviews for the same problem. Bought a used truck. Hadn't been through service yet. The Saturday I purchased the truck I was promised it would be delivered later that day. Few hours later I was called and told the only issue with the truck was a power steering line and the part wouldn't be in till the following Monday and the truck would be delivered then. When Monday came around I was contacted and told that the part for the airbag issue needed to be ordered. Was never told there was an airbag issue beforehand. Was only told the power steering line was the only issue. The next day (tuesday) I was told it would be 3-5 days before the airbag part would come in. Friday the part supposedly came in. I was contacted and told that the truck would be delivered later that day. Heard nothing else till the next day. Thats when I was told that the airbag part was incorrect. And the right one couldn't be ordered till Monday. Monday came around and I was told the part was discontinued and the airbag issue could not be fixed and I needed to come pick up the truck instead of it being delivered like I was promised. After taking possession of the truck there was an airbag light on. I expected that. I made it on to the highway and drove 5 or so minutes when I got a service tpms system message come up. After only sitting in my driveway overnight there was a puddle underneath it. Took it into the shop the very next day. Found out there is not a single tpms sensor in any of the wheels. Not sure how they got the light to stay off for that long. Especially seeing as tpms is not something you are supposed to be able to turn off. Also found that the power steering pump is severely leaking. To the point where I only had the truck a day and a half and had to completely refill the power steering reservoir. Also found several more leaks. The transmission cooler lines, oil pan gasket, and the power steering rack and pinion. Took several days to get the initial inspection sheet from the dealership. My mind is completely boggled by how much was attempted to be hidden from me. I have owned the truck a week now. So far I've had to refill the power steering reservoir 5 times. Also the part I was told for the airbag that was "discontinued" was ordered and installed by a different dealership in less time than champion had my truck. This is shamefull. There really needs to be more transparency when it comes to purchasing from champion. Make sure if you buy from them you get an inspection done or at the very least get the inspection sheet from them. Champion is liars and they will straight ignore you if you have issues.

For the past nine years, I've been treated with respect and courtesy at the Champion Chevrolet. However, this past year something changed. I don't know whether it was because my car turned 10-years-old or what (despite the fact they were my only service folks as well), but I spoke to several other mechanics and individuals and all of them felt I got screwed when my car went through a series of unfortunate incidents after being "fixed" several times at their service center. I lost my car in the process, which broke my heart. I don't know that I'd ever purchase another vehicle from them. I really have mixed feelings about this incident, because they treated me so well for so long. But, the treatment I received within the past three months was beyond my understanding.

I really wish our experience was different because everyone else seems to have great things to say. But unfortunately, that was not the case for us. We went to buy a second (inexpensive) car for my husband to use to drive for work. We found Champion and went to see it. My husband test drove and we decided to purchase with the understanding that they would be sending the car to service to get a workup. They stated that the car should be ready on Monday or Tuesday. Tuesday comes, and we are informed that the car needs a transmission part that would be in on Thursday. Our salesperson told my husband the exact part that the car needed. Thursday we were informed that the “parts” are on backorder, and they don’t know when they will be in. They told us it could be a week, or it could be 1 month+. They offered another car that was 80,000 miles more as a replacement or we could pull out of the deal. As we expressed our feelings about the situation, our salesperson became aggressive We requested a call from a manager and when he called, he brushed off the situation. We decided to pull out of the deal, as the service went from 1 part to multiple parts, and from ready in 2 days to no ETA. We found out around 2-3 days later that the car was back on the website for 1K more than they were originally selling for. But when asked about they cars condition they said “oops, this has mechanical issues and is not really for sale”. I would think this was a fluke, but I’ve had 2 other family/friends have similar experiences with false mechanical information when working with the dealership. Again, I really wanted to love it there, but something feels very off.
