I purchased a car from Champion Chevrolet of Lagrange in 2021. Since that time I have always taken it back to the dealership for service and repairs. Jay does a great job of staying in touch and connected during any service or repair. Communication is always the key!

The recent service experience for my Chevrolet Blazer EV was five star. The scheduled maintenance, included a tire rotation, the resolution of outstanding recalls, and key reprogramming, was executed with efficiency. The convenience offered by your key drop-off service proved to be immensely valuable, allowing for us to drop off the car after service hours of 6. A pivotal aspect of this positive experience was the exceptional support provided by Samantha. Her proactive engagement was evident from the outset; on the morning following an evening drop drop-off, we received a thoughtful text message introducing her as our dedicated service contact and clearly outlining her availability for any questions or concerns via text or phone. She responded to a question I had immediately. Throughout the service process, Samantha's responsiveness to our inquiries was truly exemplary. Her ability to deliver prompt, comprehensive, and exceptionally clear answers to all our questions transformed what could often be a stressful process into a remarkably smooth and transparent one. Samantha’s standard of communication sets an impressive benchmark for customer care, significantly contributing to our peace of mind. Two things potential customers should be aware is that, customer parking availability at the facility is limited. Secondly, it was noted that a 3% processing fee is applied to credit card transactions, although alternative payment methods such as personal checks, debit cards, and cash are accepted with no fees. These minor points, however, in no way diminish our profound satisfaction with the service received. We wish to specifically commend Samantha, whose exemplary professionalism, outstanding communication. Called Champions and talked to Tony to set up a date for the Airbag safety Recall . He was very accommodating and set a time that suited my schedule! I called the day before my appointment and asked if I could also get an oil change and tire rotation and was told yes! Once I dropped the vehicle off Tony was again very accommodating and notified me once the work on the vehicle was completed, ahead of time!!! I highly recommend Champions!

I have mixed feelings about my service experience. After waiting a month for an open appointment, it was disappointing how long it took due to other priorities in the shop. My 4 labor hour quote repair took 4 days. When completed, I feel it was done properly. Also paperwork identified work performed on a different VIN # and year of car.

Lack of communication even with all the options they sent. Had my vehicle for 3 weeks. They said if I had questions to text the number they sent me. Texts went unanswered, voice mails left were never returned. And when wrong service writer would answer they would take a message and it would be a few more phone call before I heard back.

Took my 2021 chevy with 40,000 miles in because check engine light came on with code for turbo charger. I made an appointment for Wednesday and they said it would take 6 or 7 days to confirm diagnosis, order parts, and put them in. It ended up taking them a week to even assign a tech to it. Meanwhile im calling every day and the people answering phones seemed very annoyed with me and never knew anything about my car. My service person was tony. He never seemed to be available when i called but he also never offered up information on his own. I always had to leave messages for him and then he would maybe send me a text message back the next day. It ended up taking one week for a tech to even be assigned and then the parts took a week to arrive. I didn't get my car back for two weeks. The repair work was under warranty but i still had to pay over 200$ in ubers to get to work and back during those two weeks. Its extra frustrating because if they had just looked at my car during the scheduled appointment i made, then the parts would have been there in the first week like they had originally told me on the phone when i made the appointment. I understand delays in getting parts or just being busy but this was so inconvenient. I went to this chevy dealership because the others in the area seemed to have an even worse service department. Makes me want to never buy a chevy again because none of the dealerships are friendly unless you are buying and I've had multiple problems covered under warranty with this car that is less than 5 years old.

I got the appointment time I wanted. I was updated/contacted during the maintenance work which was done in a timely manner. Service advisor Jay was very helpful. And the cost of the service was reasonable. I highly recommend the Service department at Champion Chevrolet GMC.

I bought a jeep Feb 13 last week and the next day the start/ stop system light came on i took it back to the salesman Todd and he said he would take care of it on Monday didn't call that Friday I texted him he said to call Amanda and set up appointment i have call 3/4 time and have not received a call back so we will be buying the the next car somewhere else.

took a week to get on the phone to schedule service and the extended warranty i purchased from champion has now not covered 2 things in a row back to back and am done with taking my vehicle for maintenance some where it takes a longer time to get it done to keep up with a warranty company that finds ways not to cover anything i need done.

Tony and the guys in the service department have been taking care of me since 2019. I could not recommend this group enough. Even when I'm in a pinch Tony will move some mountain to ensure I am able to be seen within a reasonable time frame. Example: I called Thursday and asked for my truck to be seen on short notice for an oil change and tire sensor concerns. Tony was transparent with me in saying they're not sure they can because they are absolutely booked. I appreciate that honesty and transparency. Also, to be fair, they are always booked and I bet it's because of how well they take care of people. Well Tony made it work for Friday morning and asked me to be at the shop at 8am. Everything was taken care of and I appreciate their flexibility. Any other time I would have been flexible myself and waited till the next week when they were free, but I was going out of town and slipped my mind. Thank you to Tony, service department, and everyone at Champion for your service and dedication to your customers.

Champion is the closest dealership to me. When I call they know who I am put a personal touch on their service. Recently my starter was showing signs of going out, and even though they were booked through January, the service team found a spot to work it in that day and I was back on the road the next morning. Great place and I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else.

I always use Champion for oil changes. My visits take about an hour, and the service is always good. This most recent visit, however, took a bit over two hours. After waiting so long, and after my car was ready, I learned the shop was understaffed that day. If you are understaffed and things are taking longer than usual, please say so up front.

I took my 2001 car for a complete check and refresh. Champion was recommended by my son. Ryan, the mechanic impressed me with his knowledge. The car was in worse shape than expected, but Ryan took care of everything well. Samantha, my service writer, was always quick to give news about progress. She could, however be the same way about bad news. That's my only complaint.

I brought my truck in there starting in February for a misfire that I told Tony in service department that I believed it is the in the transmission. They worked on it and a few days later I picked my truck up. A few weeks later my truck started doing the same thing so I called and made an appointment to bring it back for the same problem. This time they had my truck and wouldn’t even return my phone calls so I could find out what they had decided it was this time. Finally after leaving a message for the manager I received a call and was told what they would be fixing. Waited a few days and nobody had given an update so I called only to never receive a call back again and then when someone finally called me back I was told my truck had been sitting there ready to be picked up which would have been nice if they would’ve called and told me my truck was good to be picked up considering I’d been paying for a rental. We get my truck back and realize a few weeks later that the same problem still exists. So I called back up there to get my truck in for a 3rd time. This time they had me drop my truck off on a Tuesday and didn’t even get to it until the following week after I was told they would look at it when I brought it in . As always no call or updates and can never reach Tony in service. So again l leave a message for a manger to call me then all of a sudden Mr. Tony calls me and informs me that I would need a new transmission and that this would cost me almost $8000. Now here it is July almost August and my warranty has now expired. It expired at the end of March. I was told that they would help with something because if they would’ve have fixed the problem correctly the 1st time I brought it in February or even the 2nd time I brought it back my warranty was still good and would’ve covered it. So when all of this happened the woman Vickie called the owner Fred and looked at all of my paperwork and said yes this is crazy and that Fred would be calling me to work something out on my truck. Well here we are 3wks later with no phone call from the owner Fred or anyone for that matter about what they were going to do to help with a problem they should’ve caught when I brought it in the 1st time and nothing just like always. I’ve only put 24,000 miles on this truck and have receipts on everything that I’ve fixed since I bought it and that’s almost $5000. I’ve never dealt with such a bad experience in my life and don’t see how some people sleep at night screwing people the way they do.

I bought my Silverado in July 2022. I dropped it off Sunday evening for an appointment that I had scheduled for Tuesday. With the app, I was able to see when the service center checked it in on Monday morning and got a notification and a phone call when the work was completed.

Tony the service manager specifically, kept us in the loop about our transmission replacement every step of the way even though he was extremely busy. poor communication. would call and be placed on hold and passed around to different people. nobody knew what the status of my vehicle was. after the dealership having my truck for a week, with no work being done I requested a loaner truck. I was told a manager would have to call me about that. after waiting 4 hours for a call, I just decided to go to the dealership to find out what's going on. then when I got there, all the sudden my truck was done and I could take it home. I don't feel like I was treated honestly at all. very bad experience. I am disappointed in chevrolet as a whole. I would love for a representative to reach out to me but I'm sure they have no interest in making it right. I don't know what I expected when I payed 50k for a new truck.

I would like to thank Paul the Used Car Manager for not calling me back. Because of him i saved myself money on a higher car payment, more money in fuel and higher insurance. He promised he would call me back after his day off so they could find me a truck that i was interested in. Well he didn't. And this is not the first time he didnt call me back. So because of you Paul i decided to keep my truck and hold onto my $5500 down payment. Thanks Champion for looking out for me!!!!

Purchased 2016 Buick Enclave with a little over 10,000 miles on it from Champion in LaGrange KY. Thought using a small dealer would provide good personal service. It is about 60 miles round trip to this dealer. I had to make 3 trips to have a couple of issues handled. This car should have had these issues settled before it was offered to any customer. As stated I made 3 trips, spent 3 separate "several" hour waiting periods for minor repairs and one issue I mentioned on each visit has still not been taken care of. I only know this because Onstar reports when something is wrong. Pretty dissatisfied and frustrated with the service at this dealership. I am updating this review. I was contacted by the dealership. They came to get my car and left a loaner for me. The issues were resolved. I was told they would ship new floor mats . I have not gotten them as yet but am hopeful they will be coming. I believe they worked hard to take care of my concerns.

When I first started using Champion about 2 1/2 years ago they were wonderful and I sent many friends their way. I took my car in for service 3 weeks ago and was called the next day and informed my timing chain needed to be replaced and it would cost almost $6000 along with new brakes and a couple other small issues. Needless to say, I did my homework and found there had been a warranty extension on my 2007 GMC Acadia and it was completely covered by GM. I am truly disappointed in Champion for a number of reasons. 1-they should have told me about this warranty extension considering they told us later that they had another the week before they fixed under the same extension. I shouldn't have had to do the research. 2-they have had my car 3 weeks this Thursday and we haven't heard a word from them til my husband went up there last week and they "just got the part in". REALLY? I am sure they are doing other cars ahead of mine since they get paid more for that than warranty work. They told my husband it would be less than a week and here it is going on a week tomorrow and haven't heard from them. Is it to much for an update every now and then? I have completely lost trust in them and neither my husband nor I will be returning with any of our cars in the future.
