I went to Champion without a reservation time to get a front end alignment. I was not in a hurry for it to be done, expecting to wait for a couple of days for the work to be done. Jay, the service manager, was a very nice guy and hustled to find out when my work would be performed. Jay told me that my vehicle would be ready the next day. My vehicle was ready by 10:00 a.m. That is much quicker than I has anticipated. I am very happy with Jay, and the Champion service team.

Jay, the service representative was the most accommodating rep I’ve ever dealt with at a dealership. I bought my equinox from an out of state GM dealership other than champion and was not happy that that dealership never notified me of recalls on my equinox so consequently I’ve had to be burdened with the expense of two fixes of recalls that had expired shortly before the problems surfaced. My complaints to GM about this have gone unanswered but my experience with Champion was satisfactory.

I was needing to get in fairly quickly for a service call for my 2018 Impala, and I sent a message via text late at night. The service department returned a call early the next morning and got me in the first available appointment. Don't question why, but I I accidently wrote down an appointment for 8:00 am, instead of 3:00 pm. I got there at 7:45 am, realized my mistake and expected to go home and come back. NO WAY. They went on, took me in line and completed the job before I had a chance to even take a little nap. The repair service was all hyped up and very thorough in every step. I even got a discount. I was so thrilled, as always, and will never take my vehicle any where else other than Champion in LaGrange. I know I can trust them to handle me like a family member and since I have been going there for years, I feel like a little sister. I love the company, so ask for Tony and Jay in the service department.

I took my car to Champion for an issue with the air conditioner fan on Tuesday and did not have an appointment. I needed the car for an out-of-town trip on Friday and was told they would do the best they could to get the job completed. On Wednesday afternoon I received a call from the service department explaining what they needed to do to fix the issue and I was provided the cost. Instead of waiting to get the part until they got the okay from me Jay went ahead and obtained the part. I was so glad because I was told it was the only one available. I have done business with Champion for over 20 years and continue to value the service department here. I believe their service department is what sells so many vehicles for them.

Jay seems like a real straight shooter. Nice guy, and honest. Recommended that I just buy the part and install myself. Good thing, too as the service is a bit slow. However, you are the closest Chevy dealership to my house, so that means I'll be returning. Next time, I'll be a drop off customer, though. Oh--I had to call to make sure my part was there. The parts department never bothered to call.

So dropped my Chevy Malibu off due to a problem with the stop start feature. They gave me a quote of 862 for repair. I get the car repaired and it breaks down again. Take it back and they tell me there is a bad engine. Ask for my money back because my problem is not fixed and the manger said no. She said she could not do it. Couldn’t even refund half?! When I drop the car off on day 1 they should have told me the engine was bad. That’s just terrible service. You literally fixed nothing. I have a warranty so I’m fine but that’s just atrocious. They should have ate that. At least refund the labor. These car places will do almost everything but solve the problem. You’re jobs is to diagnose and fix the problem. So what service did I pay for. The manager wouldn’t even talk to me and I was respectful. Don’t go here. Jay was nice though. They need to be more transparent with time of completion and call with updates. They just tried to treat me like any ol customer .

The best part is anytime we call or come in, they know us by name & always greet us by our names... it’s nice to be remembered. We always come here for our oil changes & never have to wait too long! 1st negative experience here after several good ones. Going on vacation and took my Tahoe in to rotate tires and check brakes. Was told rear brakes were thin but fine for the trip. A thousand mile trip later I’m metal on metal in the rear and the grinding is horrible. Did not want to be looking for a brake job while on vacation. Jay and the guys have usually been good to me. Very disappointed this time and I called him to let him know. I will continue to do business there based on my past experience but I won’t if this continues. Rick Baker
