I had my 2019 Equanox towed to Champion as 2 different tow trucks and drivers couldn't get it to turn over. It seemed the battery was dead. Champion tested it and said it was the battery and it needed replacement. The battery was still under warranty. The parts house wouldn't replace it because there little box said it was now good. So I had to have Champion replace it with a new 4 year warranted battery. I didn't trust the parts house battery tester. I am totally happy with Champions work.

Great service! Everyone one is very friendly and supportive! They replaced the switch on my tailgate! It was busy that morning so they actually had a technician came out and replaced the switch in the parking lot so I could get to other appointments for the day! Totally professional! Thank You!!

We have been taking our vehicles to them for years and even ordered a truck from this dealership in 2021 and have never had a bad experience with them. From the sales department, to service and the ladies who answer the calls in customer service. Every interaction has been exceptional. We had an issue with one of our vehicles on Labor Day weekend and were due to travel that Monday, Tony took really good care of us and although we had an appointment scheduled for 4 days out, the vehicle was towed the same day we called the dealership to make an appointment. The very next day we received a call that the vehicle was ready. They didn’t have to service it or even do a diagnostic on it until the day it was scheduled for, but they really do care about their customers and knew we needed the vehicle ASAP and the truck was already there. We appreciate everyone there and are very thankful they have great people working there. We have one other vehicle that has warranty at a different dealership and they have been nothing but a headache, warranty expires soon and we will be switching all of our vehicles to this dealership. Thank you for always getting us in and making sure were all set. You are awesome. Again, thank you TONY for making sure we were taken care of. Update: took our vehicles to be serviced and again, exceptional customer service. Thank you for always taking care of our vehicles!

No one wants their car to have expensive repairs.... Especially two weeks before Christmas. But I was so thankful that Champion was able to work me into the schedule to fix my engine light. I thought the issue was an oxygen sensor, but it turned out to be much more serious than that. Champion did an awesome job at the repair and it turned out that my invoice was much less than the quoted amount. The service department is awesome and extremely trustworthy! I would not have known any different if I had been charged the more expensive amount. Thank you to Champion for being an honest business in the community!

Big thanks to the auto shop for making my 2024 Trax brand new again! They went above and beyond with a wash, inside detailed and even took care of a recall on my car. On top of all that, they met their timeframe of one week to get it done! The parts took FOREVER but not their fault! Also, great communication throughout! This is the 2nd time they have fixed a car for me! Honestly, I hope next time is to buy another car instead of getting one repaired from an accident!

My experience at this dealership is beyond anything I could have imagined. Samantha and Jack both went above and beyond to help me in a stressful moment in life. My driveshaft on my new GMC Terrain was destroyed by road debris while I was traveling 1600 miles from Texas to Pennsylvania! Not only did Jack happen to find a driveshaft but the mechanic at the shop was able to put it on the very same day I dropped it off!! What would have put a few days into my trip, the team at Champion Chevrolet saved my time and my trip!! I will forever be a loyal customer of General Motors because of this team!!! Keep up the great work yall!!! P.S. the new driveshaft is working like a charm, I got home with my fiance safe and sound!!

November 25, 2024: left car at Champion for catalytic converter replacement November 27, 2024: picked up car with new c. c. installed December 9, 2024: left car at Champion for them to determine why the new c. c. did not solve my car’s issue December 13, 2024: car blew up during a test drive which required towing back to Champion December 26, 2024: warranty company approved service records January 20, 2025: Champion finds the problem: a scored cylinder January 27, 2025: warranty company approves a new engine and turbo February 12, 2025: everything assembled, but in testing they determined that the old engine had damaged the catalytic converter February 17, 2025: new catalytic converter is installed February 22, 2025: Fred Tolsdorf, Champion owner, discounted my portion of the bill 50%. Thank you! Present: the car is running great! It took a long time, but all is well. Thank you.

I was needing to get in fairly quickly for a service call for my 2018 Impala, and I sent a message via text late at night. The service department returned a call early the next morning and got me in the first available appointment. Don't question why, but I I accidently wrote down an appointment for 8:00 am, instead of 3:00 pm. I got there at 7:45 am, realized my mistake and expected to go home and come back. NO WAY. They went on, took me in line and completed the job before I had a chance to even take a little nap. The repair service was all hyped up and very thorough in every step. I even got a discount. I was so thrilled, as always, and will never take my vehicle any where else other than Champion in LaGrange. I know I can trust them to handle me like a family member and since I have been going there for years, I feel like a little sister. I love the company, so ask for Tony and Jay in the service department.

Kyle and his crew made the whole transition smooth starting from the estimate, ordering the parts, getting me in once they arrived, and it's complete turn around time was fast as well. I appreciate all of the updates I received along the way as well. Once it was ready I couldn't believe how not only the outside of my car looked, but the inside hasn't looked this good since I first bought my car! I traded in my Nissan Rogue for a 2017 GMC Sierra about 16 months ago and have had nothing but issues with it since then. Within 3 months the air conditioning went out and I had to have the condenser and compressor replaced. Now after only driving 12k miles since the purchase, the transmission has failed and im out another $5500.00 for a new one. I hope this is not typical of the type of dealings you normally do because I feel there was either a lack of inspection before the trade or an unfair amount of disclosure of existing problems with this vehicle. Needless to say I will not be a repeat customer here and do not recommend them to anyone else in the area for a used trade. Update: After this post I was contacted by the dealership and returned thier call. I discussed the issues with customer support and they checked on the details of the transaction. I was later contacted by the owner and he offered to help with part of the cost of the transmission replacement cost after it is completed. I did not have any receipts from the a/c issue since it happened over a year ago but I'm still appreciative of the other assistance. I'm changing my rating from 1 star to 5 for the immediate response and willingness to help out.

Driving through with the family on spring break today and had a cylinder start misfiring on the highway. We stopped to see if they could help us out and we were so terrified we would be high and dry. The staff was so nice from the salesman that greeted us, to the cashier, to the service dept., literally everyone! Even more to my surprise, they had us back on the road in under 2 hours even though they had to get the part delivered. I’ve used Champion Chevrolet as my body shop twice in the last year (please don’t judge my driving) once was my fault and once wasn’t. I have a Lexus SUV and I thought I’d have to go to specialty body shop but my insurance company recommended Champion so I went. Tony Plappert helped my husband and I decide about making a major repair to our vehicle by giving us all the details regarding the issues and what would need to be done to diagnose and fix the problem as well as the preventative things we could do to not have further engine issues. He called the warranty place multiple times for us as well to see if we had any coverage. The engine had to be pulled out and reinstalled to fix our issue. The car was surprisingly repaired in 1 day after the diagnosis and the service was excellent!

Everything was fixed as requested but the communication back to customer during the entire process could be better. The service department went above to find all out of service parts. I am very thankful for that. However a call saying we have received the parts. We will start work tomorrow. I called twice and left messages to find out status ir charge? It was a horrible experience. They talk my fiance into getting a loan for a new trans mission as the first approach to repairing a slow leak in the bell housing. The internal parts were not damaged because the vehicle had been parked in the carport for several months. A bottle of blue devil should have been the first approach. I appreciate you causing me problems Champion.

Took our vehicle here to have it worked on due to my husband having a wreck. They fixed the truck but while having our truck they backed into in their shop and done more damage that they fixed, but while our vechile was in their shop they also done damage to our passenger side front door handle and refused to fix it. We were told there was no way it happened while in their care, the thing is it wasn't broke before the truck was taken there to be fixed.
