My truck went in for the common CCV (23 Silverado Duramax 3.0L LZ0). Luckily they had the part at time of my appointment. I got a loaner to use that was also a Silverado pick up so I didn’t feel like I was out of my utility capability. They had my truck for 2 weeks because the tech went hunting for a week. Everything else was seamless and easy. Didn’t get hassled around.

I have used the service department at Champion Chevrolet for several years, both with a vehicle purchased from them and a vehicle purchased from a different dealership. I have always been satisfied with how issues were resolved, even when there was an incident that could have become a problem , they handled it promptly and efficiently. The service department is always very busy but even in high volume, they seem to keep things on a personal level. It's nice to have this quality of service in our city of Lagrange, Ky.

I initially had a bad experience with some routine maintenance…. However after expressing my disappointment I was contacted within 48 hours and a respectable resolve was found….. I definitely have to give credit to Champion and their customer service…… 👍🏻

I had brought my car in because the Super cruise wasn’t working. I had taken it to another dealership prior and they had it for over 2 weeks and couldn’t figure it out and wouldn’t give me a loaner vehicle. I brought it to Champion they gave me a loaner vehicle and figured out what the problem was, fixed it , and super cruise is working great. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommended!

On my appointment date they got me in early, while the issue was finicky and they were not able to re-create the taillight issue. I left with the issue seeming resolved when I reached back out because it wasn’t they were prompt to get me in the following morning to have the issue addressed and fixed with more information . All staff were more than patient and polite, this vehicle is not even a brand of theirs but a vehicle purchased off the lot and they took great care of us. I’ve never had any issues from the day we bought the vehicle they really treat you like family.

I came in for an oil change, diesel fuel filter change, and 2 recall items on Saturday morning at 8 am. I learned the block heater recall would take 3 hrs, so I asked for and received a loaner car. Around noon, I called to check on the status and learned the mechanic was having problems programming the computer for one of the recall items and it would not be ready. I came in to pick up a few items out of my truck and learned the mechanic had also discovered an oil pan leak and a glycol leak that would be covered under warranty. I authorized the repairs to be completed. The work was completed on Thursday and I picked the truck up that evening. While I thought the work should have been completed at least one day sooner, I was pleased with the service work and the use of the loaner. No complaints from me, and I would highly recommend (and have recommended) others to shop at Champion of LaGrange. Beery Miller

First class treatment always received a champion Chevrolet in Lagrange when I walk in the door always greeted with a smile and top notch service, Samantha, Jay, Tony and Sonny. They took my vehicle right in for service. Sonny gave me a ride to my dentist appointment and returned to pick me up. Couldn’t ask for better service. Thank you Champion chevrolet - gmc.

After a very stressful week (Christmas week) I took my car in due to a nasty leak. I was very stressed and upset about how expensive it was to get fixed - although the price couldn’t be altered any lower, Jay was very patient and understanding with me and even paid for a me to drive a rental for a couple of days until the car was fixed.

I was is a quite a bind needing a quality used vehicle the evening I visited. Quentin my sales rep and Paul the used lot manager very helpful and honest, they worked together to make sure I was provided a quality used car for my budget. An issue came up the vehicle a couple of months after the purchase. The service department went above and beyond! They repaired the issue with no cost to me. I will definitely go back to Champion for my next vehicle need!

Update: I received a direct call from a manager who to talk about what happened. They were very apologetic and offered to come get my vehicle and drop off a loaner which is exactly what they did the following week. I was impressed with their customer service and willingness to do right by me. Wasted time. Scheduled an oil change and transmission flush. Dropped the car off on time then got a call 4 hours later saying the flush wasn’t started and if the vehicle could stay overnight which wasn’t a possibility. Was then told to come pick it up without the service being done. Complete waste of time.

Had an appointment for my 2019 Chevrolet Equinox on Monday 8/21 for a routine transmission flush (for warranty), spark plugs, and to look at a suspension issue. Drop car off as soon as they opened for my appointment. Tony was my advisor. Monday came and went didn’t hear anything, called Tuesday left messages and didn’t hear anything. Finally, on Wednesday got a call that they were just starting to work on it. Completed transmission flush and found issue with suspension (had to order parts for this issue so was planning to take it back on 8/28). Was able to pick up my car on Thursday 8/24. Husband drove it home, it was not shifting right. Took it to Cincinnati on Friday 8/25, started to shift worse. Called the shop immediately. Told them the issues and that we were planning on dropping it off on Monday and asked if they could look at transmission again. We were first told it could take 500 miles to “re-learn”, then told 800 miles, then when I spoke with the service manager said anywhere between 800-1000. Took car back in on 8/28 for suspension and to look at transmission. Again no communication, left several messages and never received calls back. Picked up the car was still having shifting issues told again to give it 1000 miles. Drove to Cincinnati and back 2 times, went to Nashville and back, drove to Cincinnati and back 2 times this week, well over 1000 miles. Called today 9/8 to let them know it was still not shifting right. They said they would look at it but couldn’t get back in until Thursday 9/14, that is unacceptable. Took the car in for routine maintenance, and it is not driving correctly. Have had horrible customer service.

The issues were with the vehicle and not the fault of the dealer, but they handled it and resolved everything. I would purchase from this dealer again, as they displayed trust and honesty in the sale and resolving the issues.

I purchased a newer truck from them online/texting/phone calls (the COVID 19 experience). Everything went very smooth the sales representatives Todd Waits was professional and all around pleasant to deal with. They even dropped the truck off to me in Clarksville IN, test drove it looked it over and signed the paperwork on Friday May 1st. There was a bit of bad. On my way home I noticed a large chip in the top right corner of the windshield. So I shot them a message letting them know. Monday morning they called J's Auto Glass and it would have been fixed the next day, but it RAINED ALL DAY. J's got it fixed today, Champion took care of it no hesitation! So my "bit of bad" was more than taken care of!!! I will definitely go to them next time I purchase another vehicle!! Have already recommend to friends!

Worst experience ever. Brought my 2015 Cruze in Thursday at 9am with what I believed to be a water pump issue, went home and waited until 5pm with no return phone call of what was wrong with the vehicle. I called at this time and was told the water pump had to be replaced and would be 3-5 days. I then asked about a loaner vehicle since The Cruze was still under warranty. They replied that the warranty would not cover a loaner. I then, after minutes of searching found my warranty papers and called back ( by this time it was 530pm) , speaking with another individual they told me that a loaner vehicle would be covered under warranty, however they had no loaners on lot. I would have to wait until the morning where they would contact me. Friday morning I received no phone call, I then called at 9am. The individual stated they had been busy and no loaner cars were yet available, he then said he would call enterprise and set me up an appointment, and that I should receive a phone call from Enterprise. I then waited until 1pm, having still not received a phone call, I called Enterprise. They stated that they had me on file and a vehicle in stock, but champion Chevrolet had not faxed the paperwork for payment. I was told they would get ahold of champion Chevrolet to see what was going on. After waiting several more hours of not hearing anything, I called back at 4pm , they then stated they tried calling champion but did not get an answer. This is now where I'm at currently... Still waiting on a rental car while my wife and kids are stuck at the house with no vehicle. I will never be taking another vehicle back to champions. A good dealership would have called after they found that the water pump was on back order and would have had loaner car set up and ready for pick up. By far the worst customer service experience and this ordeal is not over yet. I may get a loaner car by day 3... Only time will tell.

It seems every time I have my truck serviced at Champion something is always left out or forgotten, or just plain missed. This is the 4th time I have taken my truck to Champion for something (3 services 1 repair). The first two times I had the truck in for service the tires weren't rotated even though I had requested it, and the service adviser recommended it. When I brought the truck in to have some body damage repaired the tires did get rotated per the service department, but the repair shop was not able to wash the truck, they did promise the vehicle would be cleaned the next time I brought it in for service. Which brings us to my most recent service visit, I brought the truck in for an oil change and specifically reminded the service adviser about the car wash I was promised by the body shop, they indicated to me they were adding it to the notes. When I picked my vehicle up it had not been cleaned, the driver seat was all the way forward for some reason, and the paper floor mat was still in the floor. Because of all the reasons listed above I will no longer be using the Champion Chevrolet service department for any more of my vehicles maintenance needs. I bought this truck at Champion specifically because the service department is convenient for me as I live in LaGrange, but now I am even questioning my purchase decision. Update - I have been in contact with the dealership and they have expressed great interest in resolving the issues I have experienced. I will continue to update my review as this progresses. Update 2 - I worked directly with the service manager and she was very apologetic of the situation. I dropped my truck off yesterday with her and she had it detailed. They did an excellent job.

Recently I purchased a 2005 Cadillac at Champion. I was told that a complete check up was done on the car. But there was a problem.... an oil leak. Champion took care of the problem and the car is great. They did more than any dealership I've ever dealt with before. I will continue to deal with Champion and recommend them to my friends.
