Bought a truck here. It could have caused a horrible accident hurting myself or my family!!@ Prior to purchase I explained to the salesman issac the used car manager billy and the finance guy i dealt with that the front end of the truck had something wrong with it. They assured me it hasn't been through inspection yet and everything would be fixed i live over 3hrs away so I bought the truck and left. 6 days later roughly I picked up truck late at night and on the drive home the upper control arm broke almost in half causing the truck to be un drivable if it fully broke it could have ended myself or my family's live. At this time the manager Billy the gm WES or the owner FRED have offered to do absolutely nothing about it even though I even offered them to just buy the parts not pay labor or alignment just the parts I've been met with multiple people telling me different story's from we will fix it to we will not fix it. They even wrote an IOU for fixing the front end and alignment which obviously was not inspected correctly. I gave them multiple weeks to help me or give me a resolution they've done nothing to help me. Overall horrible experience with them and the lender they sent me with was even worse to get a payoff from! 30+ days truck's been sitting. This lot has no floor plan which means the owner owns everything and could easily afford to make this situation whole for context about $1,900 to fix this situation In my opinion and experience this dealership like most others value profit margins over the safety or concerns of there customers! I will attempt to attach a photo of the damage for proof. Multiple red flags from rude sales members to stuck up attitudes should have made me change my mind and leave before we got to this point. Don't make the same mistake I did and make sure they fix the things they said they would!

I will NEVER buy a car from Champion again. The way Fred’s son runs the dealership is not how his father did business. Shame on you!!!! You knew the car had problems 1 week after I bought it. We trusted you all and did EVERYTHING you said to do: From this point on - everyone in a 4 county radius will know how unprofessional and unethical you are. DO NOT SUPPORT CHAMPION!!!!!!!

I was not looking forward to the process of buying my first new car in 16 years. I was apprehensive and worried I would have to deal with pushy salesmen. I am so glad I went to Champion. My salesman Chris was wonderful. He was not pushy at all. They definitely offer some extras (warranties, etc) but were understanding when I declined. They seemed to respect my budget, which I greatly appreciated!! Chris was very kind and patient and good-humored with my test-driving, even when I changed my mind entirely and bought a car that I did not even intend to test drive but could not resist when I saw it in person (2025 Trailblazer in Marina Blue--so gorgeous!!). Chris went through a LOT of trouble to get me the educator rebate ($500!) and texted me to see if I needed help with any of the pre-purchase process. He was very thoughtful and caring! Matt is the finance person and also very kind and patient and understanding. He even let me choose my license plate and did not make me feel bad when I declined an enhancement of the warranty I was not sure I could afford. I received a tour of the facility, will get my first oil change for free, and even took home a 'swag bag' with beautiful key chains, etc. I even got to meet Fred the owner. I was impressed with his friendly demeanor and generosity. I really feel like this was the best dealership I could have gone to and I truly appreciate being treated so kindly. For all these reasons, I highly recommend Champion Chevrolet to everyone!

Champion Chevrolet is just what their name states, “CHAMPIONS”. I have 2 Avalanches and a Buick Encore that I have serviced there. From the time you walk in til you leave with your car fixed they treat you like family. Friendly, courteous and honest are words that resonate with their service department. Tony and Jay (and the rest of the gang) are professionals of their trade. I give both of these gentlemen the highest marks for friendliness and outstanding service. They know their cars and are able to quickly analyze your vehicle’s needs, provide prompt service then quickly and professionally get you back on the road. November 25, 2024: left car at Champion for catalytic converter replacement November 27, 2024: picked up car with new c. c. installed December 9, 2024: left car at Champion for them to determine why the new c. c. did not solve my car’s issue December 13, 2024: car blew up during a test drive which required towing back to Champion December 26, 2024: warranty company approved service records January 20, 2025: Champion finds the problem: a scored cylinder January 27, 2025: warranty company approves a new engine and turbo February 12, 2025: everything assembled, but in testing they determined that the old engine had damaged the catalytic converter February 17, 2025: new catalytic converter is installed February 22, 2025: Fred Tolsdorf, Champion owner, discounted my portion of the bill 50%. Thank you! Present: the car is running great! It took a long time, but all is well. Thank you.

I brought my truck in there starting in February for a misfire that I told Tony in service department that I believed it is the in the transmission. They worked on it and a few days later I picked my truck up. A few weeks later my truck started doing the same thing so I called and made an appointment to bring it back for the same problem. This time they had my truck and wouldn’t even return my phone calls so I could find out what they had decided it was this time. Finally after leaving a message for the manager I received a call and was told what they would be fixing. Waited a few days and nobody had given an update so I called only to never receive a call back again and then when someone finally called me back I was told my truck had been sitting there ready to be picked up which would have been nice if they would’ve called and told me my truck was good to be picked up considering I’d been paying for a rental. We get my truck back and realize a few weeks later that the same problem still exists. So I called back up there to get my truck in for a 3rd time. This time they had me drop my truck off on a Tuesday and didn’t even get to it until the following week after I was told they would look at it when I brought it in . As always no call or updates and can never reach Tony in service. So again l leave a message for a manger to call me then all of a sudden Mr. Tony calls me and informs me that I would need a new transmission and that this would cost me almost $8000. Now here it is July almost August and my warranty has now expired. It expired at the end of March. I was told that they would help with something because if they would’ve have fixed the problem correctly the 1st time I brought it in February or even the 2nd time I brought it back my warranty was still good and would’ve covered it. So when all of this happened the woman Vickie called the owner Fred and looked at all of my paperwork and said yes this is crazy and that Fred would be calling me to work something out on my truck. Well here we are 3wks later with no phone call from the owner Fred or anyone for that matter about what they were going to do to help with a problem they should’ve caught when I brought it in the 1st time and nothing just like always. I’ve only put 24,000 miles on this truck and have receipts on everything that I’ve fixed since I bought it and that’s almost $5000. I’ve never dealt with such a bad experience in my life and don’t see how some people sleep at night screwing people the way they do.

I'm not a huge fan of the car buying experience and previous experiences with new car dealers - especially Chevy - were not very responsive. A friend of mine was referred to Champion by GM corporate after his unfortunate experience with a lemon. This led me to give Fred and his team a shot. Talk about first class... These folks know how to run a business and provide customer support. Service and responsiveness is the name of the game and they didn't skip a beat. And they gave me over $3K more than any other dealer for my trade in. I will refer anyone who will listen if asked where to buy a GM vehicle. Champion is the place for me moving forward.

My husband and I bought a car from Champion Chevrolet yesterday. We worked with Fred, Vickie, and Melissa. Every person we met with throughout the process was extremely attentive, personable, and courteous. We were never pressured to buy a certain vehicle type or pushed into a certain price range. We led the entire process and the staff at Champion worked hard to make sure that we were completely satisfied throughout. In fact, they even went so far as to bring a demo to our house to make sure that the vehicle would fit in our garage. I wish all companies had the same level of service. I would definitely buy a car from Champion again!

There is no pressure to make a decision, and the process is streamlined in a way where I was able to communicate the criteria that I was looking for in a vehicle via email. Upon acquisition of the vehicle I was seeking, I received an email notification and we set up a time for me to come in to pick up the keys.

Fred made me a great deal on a brand new Chevy Traverse, Melissa made it easy in the finance office and David made sure my wife new everything about her traverse.
