The sales department was great, but the service department did a horrible job. The service representative, Tony, lied to me on several occasions about what the warranty would pay for and work that was supposed to be completed and was not. They had my vehicle for two months, replacing the engine and within one day I had to take it back and that’s when they informed me I needed a new transmission. Not sure why they didn’t catch that during the two months they had it, especially since they were supposed to flush the transmission. I even called to confirm that they were going to flush the transmission during the engine work and they said they would. When I picked it up, they said they had not flushed the transmission. he told me the warranty would not cover a certain part of the work which was gonna cost over $1000. I asked him if it would be worth calling The warranty company to confirm and he said no, I would just be wasting my time. I called the warranty company, and they immediately said they would cover the part and said that it would not make sense for them not to. I am not a hard man to please, but very unhappy with my experience at Champion.

First time visiting and buying from Champion. We had Chris set us up to test drive GMC Sierra AT4. It took a blink of an eye-no forms for us to fill out, nothing. He did everything on his phone. We knew right away that was the vehicle, but wasn’t comfortable with the price. We were honest with Chris and he understood. He wasn’t pushing us towards anything. It was a very shocking experience. In prior purchasing experiences, we had a hard time politely walking away from a dealership, because salesman was aggressively following us out. With Chris, it was very pleasant. It felt like we met someone we knew for years and chatted for a bit. After we test drove Chevrolet Silverado in Louisville dealership that same day, we knew we had to come back for Sierra. I called Chris and after few back and forts, we agreed on price. We drove off in our Sierra, right as Champion working hours ended. Our financing, and all other paperwork was handled with unimaginable speed. Thank you Chris, Melissa, and other team members for making this experience as pleasant as it was.

I came in for an oil change, diesel fuel filter change, and 2 recall items on Saturday morning at 8 am. I learned the block heater recall would take 3 hrs, so I asked for and received a loaner car. Around noon, I called to check on the status and learned the mechanic was having problems programming the computer for one of the recall items and it would not be ready. I came in to pick up a few items out of my truck and learned the mechanic had also discovered an oil pan leak and a glycol leak that would be covered under warranty. I authorized the repairs to be completed. The work was completed on Thursday and I picked the truck up that evening. While I thought the work should have been completed at least one day sooner, I was pleased with the service work and the use of the loaner. No complaints from me, and I would highly recommend (and have recommended) others to shop at Champion of LaGrange. Beery Miller
